Project: Bathroom Vanity

ShopNotes: Stains have come a long way in the past hundred years. This bathroom vanity is constructed of standard Birch hardwood but is stained with a dye that penetrates into the wood and changes the color from within. This allows figuring in the wood to appear that would be masked with other types of finish. Combining two colors can make even more of a design statement. The large size of this vanity allows ample storage for incidentals and a curved facade detail under the sink top. The granite top is cut to match with a profiled edge.
